After reviewing countless
honeymoon registry sites the following are a few of the questions
you probably have, Honeymoon Classics has the answers.
Q: Do all honeymoon registries charge a set-up fee?
A: Most do. Honeymoon Classics does not charge
a set-up fee.
Q: Do I want to have my friends and
family inform my guests that our honeymoon is registered on-line?
I don’t
want to insert a registry announcement in my wedding invitation
or inside a bridal shower invitation. There must be a better
way of informing our guests
A: There is! You provide Honeymoon Classics
with the names and address of your wedding guests. Seven days after
you mail your wedding invitations to your guests Honeymoon Classics
will mail your honeymoon registry announcement to your guests. If
you have your own site, you can announce on your site that your
honeymoon is registered with Honeymoon Classics. The following
is sample wording.”Our honeymoon is registered with Honeymoon
Classics. For more information please email your address to romance@honeymoonclassics.com .
Our honeymoon information will be mailed to you.” Your guests
simply email their address to us and we will mail your registry
information to them. We recommend this because some of your guests
may be offended by seeing a list of gifts with prices on your wedding
site.
Q: Do I want my guests to
go on-line to purchase a honeymoon gift certificate with their
credit card? How safe is that?
A: It’s
fairly safe but also time consuming. With Honeymoon Classics your
guests will be receiving your honeymoon announcement by mail. They
can either send a check or pay by credit card. Honeymoon Classics
provides a credit card form plus we include a postage paid return
envelope.
Q: Most on-line registries charge
a fee anywhere from 4% to 10% of the value of the gift? If
I receive a $300.00 gift certificate the on-line registry could
take up to $30.00 as a fee. Does Honeymoon Classics charge a fee?
A: Honeymoon
Classics does not charge an up-front fee or any type of service
fee.
Q: How will my guest know
that I received their gift?
A: A copy of the gift certificate
will be mailed to your guest. (View gift certificate)
Q: Should
I have a concern regarding personal information on my wedding site?
A: Keep
personal information off the site, including the complete names
of the bride and groom, residences, cell phone numbers, personal
emails, RSVP forms, date and location of the wedding. If sharing
of personal information is necessary, limit access through username
and password.
