The Dodecanese Islands are located in the Aegean
Sea and are the southeastern most island cluster in Greece. By
many, the Dodecanese are considered the most impressive of islands,
mainly because of their sophisticated aura and their splendid multi-cultural
features. Throughout the Dodecanese Islands, visitors will find
many areas of natural beauty, a number of wonderful Byzantine and

types, the most popular being the cosmopolitan Rhodes (Rodos) with its majestic
medieval town and Patmos with the Cave of the Apocalypse and the Monastery of

Chalki, Kalymnos, Karpathos, Kassos, Kastelorizo, Leros, Lipsi, Nisyros, Symi
