Crystal Cruises
Longer, more exotic cruises attract an older,
55-plus crowd and few (if any) children. However, Crystal is developing
a reputation as the multi-generational family cruise line of choice
for luxury-line travelers, especially on summer, holiday, Alaskan,
and –occasionally—Caribbean
sailings.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises
While the age range encompasses couples from the mid-30s to 80s,
RSSC primarily attracts professional and retired couples who are
40+ and affluent, seasoned travelers. The itinerary of the ship
tends to drive the age and activity levels of individual sailings.
Seabourn Cruise Line
While many passengers are likely to be American, international
passengers also cruise with Seabourn. All are likely to be well-off
and well-traveled. Conversation often includes past and future
trips, since Seabourn passengers are intensely loyal to the line,
and as many as half the passengers on any given sailing may be
repeaters.
Silversea Cruises
Passengers tend to be professional (and Fortune
500) types. Generally, as on most small luxury cruise ships, they
also are somewhat older than those found on larger mainstream ships.
Many are retirees, with the leisure and resources to make Silversea
their cruise line of choice, although the larger ships do attract
a somewhat younger crowd. But it’s still not a line for the
20-and 30- something set. |
